Program Description:

Known as a happy, safe, and healthy country, Denmark is great place to study abroad. English is widely spoken here and students studying business can study here and access many major European cities from this country located in northern Europe.

City: Odense
Country: Denmark
Population: 175,000

Located on an island in central Denmark, Odense is the third-largest city in the country. It is home to many students and offers several events and festivals. Denmark consistently ranks as one of the happiest cities in the world. A safe country, children walk to school on their own and even the Queen can be seen doing her own shopping. Freedom of expression and equality for all are part of the Danish philosophy. Everyone has a bike and uses it to get around everywhere. The Danish people are generally fluent in English due to the largely English-language television and cinema they view. Denmark is close to major European cities, such as Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Oslo, and Paris.

Student population: 30,000 students, 16% international
Language of Instruction: English
Degrees Offered: Bachelor's and Master's

The University of Southern Denmark (SDU) has six campuses throughout the country. Kutztown University and the SDU Odense campus have an exchange agreement for students studying business. This campus has been in operation since 1966, making it exactly 100 years younger than KU. SDU has faculties (or departments, as we know them) in engineering; health sciences; humanities; science; and business and social sciences. SDU has been recognized as a world-class research institution and ranked among the Top 50 of the World’s Young Universities.Evening Photo Denmark
